HAHAHAHAHAHA

ONE NUT AND SOMETHING TO PROVE!

That got a screech out of me :>

Will download the mix!

Tuesday Morning.

I didn't too well with my gym plan last week.  Managed 2/5 sessions.

Not.  Good.  Enough.

So, now I'm going for the one day at a time.

Tomorrow, Tuesday: 40 minutes of cardio on the stationary bike - but on the mountain goat Lance Armstrong setting.  I'm going to ride like I have one nut and something to prove.

My soundtrack for the session?

Cyantific - Return of the Ghetto Blaster

I'll provide an update tomorrow night of how it went.

Almost a week

Since our last post, tut tut.

Ok so you know I had my job interview today, bit excited but not too much in case I'm not 'the one'.

Went for a massive walk today, soundtrack was Elite Force breaks mix - a new one! in 2010! I know I know, breaks is dead rah de rah, this mix was truly awesome, and lasted me my whole walk (1 hour).

Just finished some Winsor Pilates which is a 20min Pilates DVD workout. Rad.

Tomorrow is GYM.

Hehehe..you probably haven't seen some of these pics before..This was me when I was a REAL gym trainer..not a burnt out one! (top pic is newest, dec 06)

12 week challenge!

Shall we?

12 week challenge would consist of setting goals each week as to what we are doing :)

And really amping up the intensity while we are training.

Yikes!

Today I had a session at the Newtown track with my podiatrist, John Sloane.  I had to run up and down while he videoed me.  The next step is a one hour session where we go through everything.

One thing he corrected was what I was too upright when I was running, so we worked on focusing on my core and coming forward from there.  Worked a treat and it made running so much easier!

After the track I went to the gym for a weights session.  Mixed it up a bit with a few other exercises my PT has been doing.  Was hard, but good.  I also weighed myself...

Yikes.
Yikes.  Again.

With shoes and clothing on (I was not going to get butt naked in the changing room thankyouverymuch) I was just under 64kg.  I'm a bit eek about this, but not overly phased as in terms of size, I'm a bit better than where I was before I started running last year.

I'm planning my training for the week now, and this is what it looks like:

  • Sunday - rest day
  • Monday - weights
  • Tuesday - RPM
  • Wednesday - PT session
  • Thursday - RPM
  • Friday - rest day
  • Saturday - weights

I'll report back on my progress.  Wish me luck!

Late night motivation...

While my friends are out boozing, I'm home on the couch.  Way too tired to contemplate even venturing into town.

So I did the next best thing.  Look at old photos.  Of me.  When I was running.

Yeah, maybe not the best thing.

It is motivating though, to maybe not eat that chocolate bar, or those Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.  All in all, for me, I've been pretty good this week.  Two gym sessions, and down to the track to analyse my running tomorrow.

In the meantime, here's me a few months ago.  Motivation...

Sweet dreams,
